Our Modeling Background
Not everyone who started programming in the late 1960s is rich and famous and passionate about technology. Technology must be managed so that information serves people. Rusty LaFerney has programmed since 1969 and developed database and spreadsheet applications since 1982 to support his engineering and economics work. LaFerney Associates has focused since 1994 on Microsoft technologies and custom financial applications for public utilities.
Our Information Management Practice
Information technology changes at a pace that overwhelms most people. Many organizations now select packages of applications and integrate those into their operations. LaFerney Associates still develops models and applications, now with the Microsoft.NET framework. However, our greater contribution has become our ability to project how information technology investment alternatives will affect the long-term value of an organization
